Royce Veronica Kinard Malik, 79, died on Thursday, February 23, 2023. Born in El Dorado, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Roy H. Kinard and Alta Dixon Kinard and sister to the late Aleta Cawthon. Royce had worked with Heat Craft for 35 years until her health no longer allowed. Survivors include her son and daughter in law: Steve and Amy Malik of Toccoa, GA; grandchildren: Kristine Malik, Tanner Grant, William Cronic and John Cronic; and niece and nephew: Erin Nickerson and Ramsey Cawthon.
Royce was devoted to her work. A long-time employee of Lenox/Heat Craft/ADP. She worked hard and grew with the company through its many changes. She made many true friends over the last 35 years, which shows in all the support she received since falling ill in December.
Royce was beloved by all. A strong and independent woman who liked to laugh and joke around. Her favorite holiday was the season of giving, Christmas, though her giving carried on all year long. She was a good woman who would do anything for anybody. Aunt RaRa had a special place in her heart for her niece Erin and nephew Ramsey, always looking forward to holidays and birthdays spent together. And her pride and joy were her grandkids. Her face would just light up when she saw them or even just heard their voice.
