Zula G. Smith, 89, widow of G.B. Smith, Jr., died November 7, 2005.
Born in Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Lam James and Bessie Smith Green and was preceded in death by a sister, Mattie Taylor and 3 brothers, George, Rufus and Tom Green. She was retired from Big Ace Manufacturing and attended Sandy Creek Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens Chapel, EAST. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include 3 sisters, Lois (Raymond) Epps and Pauline Short of Athens and Mary (Bob) Sanders of Houston, TX and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
