Zora Anne Brake, cherished wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away surrounded by her beloved family on Monday, January 25, 2021 following a brief illness.
Born in Ohio on July 16, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Jack Baddeley Sr. and Emma Ellen Seidner Baddeley. Mrs. Brake was a talented artist and avid reader. She also enjoyed music, fishing and the beach. Mrs. Brake was a faithful Christian and is now in the arms of her loving Savior. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Nora Roberts and Donald Baddeley.
Survivors include her husband, Walter Thomas Brake; five children, Angela Ellen Hutto (Ken), April Denise Hassell (Andy), Walter Thomas “Tommy” Brake Jr., Ginger Leigh Brake and Michael Jeffrey Brake; four grandchildren, Emily and Andrew Bryant and Frankie and Julia Guerra; eight siblings, Jack, Thomas, Barry, Roger, Steven, Brent and Doug Baddeley and Brenda Alesi and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID pandemic, memorial services will be announced at a later date.
