Zachary Caleb Jordan

Zachary Caleb Jordan, 41, passed away November 6, 2022 at his home in Royston, Georgia.  He was born July 30, 1981 in Athens, Georgia. He grew up in Athens, and Fairhope, AL. He also lived in Stockbridge, Ga for 10 years.

He is survived by his parents: mother, Karen B. Brown (Kenneth W. Brown) of Royston, GA; father, Charles V. Jordan Jr of Nicholson, GA. He is also survived by his brother, Charles V. Jordan III (Meg Jordan) of Newnan, GA and stepsister, Katrina Brown of Fairhope, AL.

Zachary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Jordan Sr. of Athens, GA and Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Brown of Monroe, GA.

Zach attended Fairhope High School in Alabama and Madison County High School in Georgia where he graduated in 2000. He was employed with United Parcel Service in Forest Park, GA for 10 years and recently in Lavonia, GA with Turner Concrete.

Zach’s passions included song writing and playing country music. He was a skilled guitarist and often shared his music with friends and family. He also loved football and was an avid GA Bulldog fan.

Zach was a very jovial fellow who never met a stranger. He had a larger than life personality and could carry conversation with anyone. He loved deeply and brought joy to many with his music and his kind soul.

A Visitation will be held at Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, GA on Sunday, November 27, 2022 from 3PM to 5PM.
