Mrs. Wyvanne Tete Addy Browne

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we, The Family, announce the death of our dear and beloved Mother Wyvanne Tete Addy Browne. She retired from this earthly tent to her heavenly abode on Friday, August 4th, 2017. Tete was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunty, niece, cousin, and friend. She is survived by her Husband, John Andrew Browne; children - Meakie King, Johnette Browne-Silva (Francis), Jacqueline Bassar Abou Assaly (Raphael), Eric Browne (Wachehn), William Browne (Ama); several foster children including Matthew Leetor and Samuel Browne; twenty-one grandchildren and two great grandchildren; numerous brothers and sisters including her endeared Cesar Addy, Etmonia Benard, Joetta Kuhl and Wynetta Smith who walked along with her devoted during her last year. Tete had countless numbers of nieces and nephews including her beloved Anthony, Abraham, Madgeline Kuhl and Anne Murray she considered own, as well as untold number of cousins and friends she so cherished.
She was predeceased by her mother, Etta Glenn, father, David T. Addy, son Andrew Zuku Browne and daughter Wyvanne Browne.

Her remains will be flown to Liberia for internment where she will be laid to rest in Hartford, St. John River, Grand Bassa County to fulfill her life-long wish of resting with her elders and son.
Tete was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ, a prayer warrior, disciplinarian, consoler, outspoken and forthright. She will be missed by so many who she called her children.
Instead of flowers donations can be made to a memorial fund in keeping with her wishes of educating and empowering girls and young mothers
