Winifred Christopher Boswell

Winifred C. Boswell, 88, of Athens, died Thursday, April 9, 2015.
A native of Easley, SC, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee Christopher and Elvia Gardo Christopher. Mrs. Boswell was a member of Central Baptist Church where she was a longtime Sunday School Teacher. She retired from Thomas Textile as a bookkeeper.
Survivors include her sister, Hazel Yarborough of Athens and two nephews, Ken Major and Tim Christopher.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 3PM at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Veal officiating. Burial will follow at Oconee Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church.
