Buddy Shook, 58, of Watkinsville, died July 28, 2005 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Danbury, CT, he was the son of the late Winfield Eben Shook, Sr. Mr. Shook worked part time for Columbia Paper Company and Farmers Furniture. He attended Prince Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Reta Shook, mother and step father, Mary and Allen Mathews, daughter, Tanya Ruark of Oconee County, sister, Brenda Mathews of Atlanta, brother, Richard Mathews of Oglethorpe County and three grandsons, Tim, Matt and Zack.
Funeral services will be held Monday, August 1, 2005 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens, WEST with Rev. Bill Ricketts officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Lord & Stephens, WEST is in charge of arrangements.
