Wilton "Tobby" Wilburn Bass, Jr.

Wilton Wilburn “Tobby” Bass, Jr., cherished husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at the age of 49.

Born in East Point, he was a son of the late Wilton Wilburn Bass, Sr. and Lula Freeman Bass. Tobby was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed racing, wrestling and most importantly, spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Robert Bond, Buck Johnson and Tina Bond and his uncle and aunt, Sam and Bonnie McElroy.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Berryman Bass; six children, Cody Bass (Brandi), Dustin Bass (Ashton), Wyatt Bass, Hunter Bass, Leland Bass and Piper Bass; five siblings, Johnny Johnson, Mike Johnson, Anne Clark, Sue Huckaby and Don Bass; four grandchildren, Mallory, Brantley, Annabelle and Sophia and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tracy Keenan, Chris Johnson, Doug Parham, Gary Crowe, Jason Crane and Billy Joe Willoughby. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at the funeral home.
