Bogart - Willie Ruth "Billie" Pruitt, 83, died August 5, 2005.
A native of Oconee County, she was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a daughter of the late James William and Johnnie Ruth Fulcher Edwards and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Monday, August 8, 2005, at 11:00 AM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Rev. Charles Jones will officiate. Interment will be in Bogart Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Raden H. Pruitt; daughter, Susan Wright of Bogart; son, Harris Pruitt of Peachtree City; sister, Margaret Phillips of Athens; brother, Harold Edwards of Athens; two grandchildren, Kristy Horton and Nancy McPherson, both of Newnan.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church Building Fund.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
