Willie Hall

Willie "Bill" Dewey Hall, 75, died March 9, 2016.
A native of Athens, GA, he was a son of the late James Dewey and Ludie Bell Alford Hall and was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Hall and Jimmy Don Hall. He retired from the University of Georgia after forty years and was a member of Whitehall Baptist Church for several years. He was saved in 1955 under Rev. Buford Lockman.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-three years, Verita "Rita" Watkins Hall; daughter, Judy Ann (Steve) Jones of Winterville; brothers, Daniel (Teresa) Hall and Carl (Vicki) Hall of Bogart; sister-in-law, Carlene Hall of Watkinsville; granddaughter, Melissa Ann (Benjamin) Paul; great granddaughter, Amelia Jacquelyn Paul; several nieces and nephews.
