Willie (Doster) Crawford

Willie Viola Crawford, beloved matriarch and God's true light on Earth, passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Born in Thompson, GA, she was the daughter of Tommie and Bessie Mae Doster. In addition to her parents, treasured friends and family too numerous to name, Willie was preceded in death by her son, Michael Lee Barnett, daughter, Debora Ann Barber, brother, Jamie Doster, sisters, Rebecca Ann Baily, Mattie Lester, Betty Lou Doster, and Annette Doster, and step-son Henry Wesley Barnett. She is survived by her husband, Lon Crawford Jr. of Comer, GA, sons, Dennis Sexton Barnett, of Athens, James Edward Barnett (Donna), and Randy Perry, brothers, Andy Doster, of Morganton, GA, and William Thomas Doster (Jean), of Clermont, GA, seven grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, step-children, Rhonda Waldrip, Brenda Loggins, Mark Crawford, and Mike Crawford, along with several nieces and nephews. Chaze Barnett, Eddie Barnett Jr., Garrett Clayton, Kenny Clayton, Jason Barnett, Neil Doster, and Randy Barnett, Jr. will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends, Friday, September 29th from 6-8 P.M. Funeral service will be held Saturday, September 30th at 11:00 A.M. at Lord and Stephens, East. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.
