William "Bill" Joseph Adams, II

William “Bill” Joseph Adams II, 55, of Colbert, died on Thursday, September 29, 2022.
Born in Chicago to William Joseph Adams I and Mary Peldner Adams, Bill worked as a master carpenter and CDL driver. In his youth, he traveled the world scuba diving and attending his beloved classic rock concerts. He was a dedicated automotive enthusiast with a cherished Z28 Camaro and TransAm he was always “fixing up.” He was a born thrill seeker who went through far more than nine lives. He loved Italian food almost as much as he loved his nieces and nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Dana Carter.
Bill is survived by his mother, Mary Adams Carter; son Samuel Carlton Adams; sister Monique Adams-Crawford (Brooks); nieces Ashlynn Self Bone and Demi Reye Self; nephew Michael Self; and numerous great-nieces and -nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at Lord and Stephens, East from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
