William Allen Wilbanks

Athens - Allen Wilbanks, age 82, died December 2, 2010. He was a retired professor emeritus of Psychology at the University of Georgia. He served his country as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy. He leaves behind his wife of 50 years, Mari-jane Wilbanks, his son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Garth and Nancy Wilbanks of Winterport, Maine. He also leaves behind two loving grandchildren and many devoted friends. His gentle, loving nature has blessed all who knew him. His passing is not just a loss to his loved ones; it is a loss to mankind. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association.
