William Monroe Tate, 71, husband of 46 years to Linda Denard Tate, died Saturday, March 29, 2014.
A native of Concord, NC, he was the son of the late William Brewer Tate and Elsie Icelene Tate. Mr. Tate was a carpenter and farmer. He was a member of Vineyards Creek Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to his wife Linda include his daughter and son in law, Sharon and Wayne McConnell of Huntsville, AL, sister, Doris Tate Vickery of Anderson, SC and two grandson, Darren and Garrett McConnell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 2PM at Vineyards Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bobby Maxwell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friend from 6 to 8 at the funeral home, Monday, March 31, 2014.
Lord and Stephens Danielsville is in charge of arrangements.
