William Trampus Smith, 49, passed away February 1, 2014. He was preceded in death by his father, Lovic Joseph Smith and brother, Tracy Smith. Mr. Smith was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Bairds Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be Monday, February 3, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev. Danny Holdridge officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until service time.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine Wray Smith; mother and step father, Sandra and Jere Matthews; son, Ethan Smith; daughter, Kim Fowler; step son, Nick Thurmond; sisters, Donna Smith, Andrea (Freddie) Baker, Deean (Ray) Poulnott, Lynn (Mickey) Baughcum and Tammy Jo Smith; two grandchildren, Trey Thurmond and Mylie Nelson.
Lord & Stephens Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
