William Jervis "Skeets" Paul

William Jervis Paul, 90, husband of the late Mary Rebecca Moon Paul for 66 years, died Monday, May 21, 2012.
A native of Oglethorpe County, he was born March 15, 1922 to the late Howard A and Mary Holloman Paul. He served his country in the US Army during WWII, was a stonecutter for Harmony Blue Granite, and a member of Glade Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Maurice Paul, Carrol Paul, Joel Paul, Jerry Paul, and sister, Shirley Foster.
"Skeets", a lifetime resident of Oglethorpe County, is survived by his son, Ryan Paul of Crawford: grandson Nathan Paul, granddaughters Sarah and Hannah Paul, great-grandson, Ethan Ryan Paul; brother: Broughton Paul of Carlton; two sisters: Betty Mathews of Lawrenceville and Valerie Porterfield Spinks of Carlton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 11 AM at the Glade Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Derek Paul and Rev. David Burt officiating.
