William Neal Allen, 88, died Thursday, April 9, 2009 at his residence.
Born in Madison County , he was the son of the late William T. and Erma Lou Rowe Allen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Allen was preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Shaw Allen and second wife, JoAnn Shaw Allen. He was a member of Moon's Grove Baptist Church , served his country during WWII and was a farmer and carpenter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11AM at Moon's Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Tony Lee and Rev. Dan Fuller officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his daughters; Cheryl Allen (Lanier) Simmons, Debi Shaw; son: Brad (Michelle) Shaw; sisters: Catherline Sorrow, Marie (Tyson) Jenkins; brother: Grady Allen; grandchildren: Renea Simmons, Alan (Adrienne) Simmons, Ryan Simmons and great grandson, Walker Simmons.
Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted.
