William Joseph "Bill" McCann

William "Bill" Joseph McCann, 94, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016
Born in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late William Joseph McCann and Harriett Plummer McCann. He was a lifelong bowler and bowled with the Silver Eagle League at Showtime Bowl until the age of 92. Bill retired from Westinghouse as Plant Manager with the International Group in 1984, after having begun his career with them right out of high school, over 43 years with the same company.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Bearden McCann of Athens; children: Gayle M. (Andy) Tillman of Bishop, David A (Gale) McCann of Anderson, SC, Gary E. (Renata) McCann of Athens; sister: Irene Delsignore of Cleveland, OH; grandchildren: Charlsie Bell, Andy Tillman, Sara Fuchs, Anthony McCann, Joy Benoit, Marcus McCann and Jennifer White plus thirteen great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Pastor Robert Sheppard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A dessert reception will follow the service.
Lord & Stephens West is in charge of arrangements.
