Nicholson - William Thomas Lester, 53, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Athens, he was the son of Hazel Pittman Lester of Nicholson and the late James Curtis Lester. He was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter: Tonya Lester of Nicholson; brothers: Mike (Patty) Lester of Greensboro, GA, David Lester and Marshall Lester of Nicholson; sister: Connie Richardson of Nicholson; grandson: Justin Thompson; former wife: Donna Carithers of Covington and step son: Steven Carithers.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, March 30, 2008 at 3PM at New Harmony Baptist Church with Revs. Billy Pittman and Phil Budensiek officiating.
The family has requested that memorials be made to New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
