William Horne

William C. Horne died July 21, 2013. A native of Madison County, Mr. Horne was the son of the late Richard B. Horne and Elizabeth Mary Hollaway Thomas. Mr. Horne was retired from the Madison County Road Department as a heavy machine operator.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00AM at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Jim Olds will officiate.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Emma France Haley Horne; children, Claudine (Gene) West, Mary (David) Lord, Michael (Cindy) Horne, David (Kay) Horne, JR (Faye) Horne, Ray Horne, and Martha Horne; twenty-eight grandchildren; fifty seven great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Randy and Nathan Lord, Mickey, Chris, Justin, Matt, Dusty, Tommy, and Daniel Horne.
The family will receive friends from 7-9PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
