Mr. William "Bill" Robert Frank, age 55 of Watkinsville, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012. Mr. Frank was born in Augusta, GA to Alexander Richard and Peggy Vance Odorizzzi Frank on December 28, 1956. He went to Walter F. George High School, and attended Mercer University where he played on the baseball team and was drafted in minor leagues. Mr. Frank has been employed as a manager with Pepboys since 1994. He will always be remembered for his love of playing golf, fishing, nascar racing, the Georgia Bulldogs, line dancing, playing bingo at the moose lodge, and most of all the love he had for his family and friends. He was an amazing loving husband, father, and friend.
Mr. Frank is preceded in death by his father Alexander Richard Frank. He is survived by his wife of 26 wonderful years, Tammy McKee Frank; daughter, Katherine Ann Frank; son William Arthur Frank; mother and step-father Peggy and Ric Lichtenberg; sisters and brothers in law Debbie Frank; Donna and Todd Lee; Janice and Brett Woyan; brother Ricky Frank; grandchildren, Breanna Frank, Hayden Stalham, Emily Frank, Abigail Frank and Noah Frank.
The family will receive friends at Lord and Stephens WEST on Sunday, June 17, 2012 from 1:00 until 5:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at First Advent Christian Church 1263 Marks Church Road, Augusta, GA on Monday, June 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Raymond Brown. Mr. Frank will lie in state at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Monday. Interment will be held at Westover Memorial Park in Augusta. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Crawford, Doug Crawford, Mark Crawford, Ken Crawford Jonathan Crawford, Stephen Crawford, and Michael Holt.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to First Advent Christian Church, 1263 Marks Church Road, Augusta, GA
Lord and Stephens WEST is in charge of arrangements.
