William Collins Jr., of Athens, died on Wednesday, October 10, 2012.
Mr. Collins was employed with the Athens-Clarke County Public Utilities for 10 years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virley Killinger Collins.
Survivors in addition to his father, William Collins Sr. (Jean), include his wide, Monica Collins; sister, Beverly Harmon; daughters, Christine Wiles and Trisha Collins; step-children, Alan Hunsberger, Audra Sweaney, and Andi Wilson; seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at a later date.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East, Athens, is in charge of the arrangements.
