Watkinsville - Will Ervin Lee, age 77, of Watkinsville, died December 17, 2006.
A lifelong resident of Oconee County, he was the son of the late Walter and Gertrude Segars Lee. He is survived by his wife, Joan Elder Lee of 56 years. He retired from Thaxton Turkeys, Inc. after 37 years of service and owned and operated Leeís Tree Farm for 22 years. He was a lifetime member and deacon of Bishop Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be held at Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 11AM with the Rev. James Ashe officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Memorial Park.
Survivors in addition to his wife include three daughters, Brenda Mcoy (David), Janice Marable (Andy), Myrna Powell (Eddie); one sister, Evelyn Hardigree; one brother, Walter Lee, Jr.; two grandsons, Justin Marable and Brent Powell; and two granddaughters, Brooke Powell and Amy McCoy.
Pallbearers will be Justin Marable, Brent Powell, Ronnie Hardigree, Eddie Hardigree, Eddy Thaxton and Bruce Thaxton.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Bishop Baptist Church, P. O. Box 10, Bishop, GA 30621.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
