Wendell Starr Hettrick

Hull, GA - Wendell Starr Hettrick, 79, died October 18, 2014.
Born in Leicester, NY, he was a son of Thelma Starr Hettrick of Batavia, NY (age 108) and the late Walter Hettrick and was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Hettrick.
Mr. Hettrick has made his home in the Athens area since 1976 and was retired from Georgian Press. He was a member of Joy Baptist Church and the Joy Men's Sunday School Class.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Marinell Stewart Hettrick; children, Wynell Hettrick Harper of Winterville, Darrell Hettrick of Nicholson and Lowell Hettrick of Hull; sister, Jane (Ray) Milholland of Buffalo, NY; grandchildren, Jenell (Jesse) Randall, Cpl. Kyle G. Harper, USMC, Jared Hettrick, Stephanie Hettrick, Micah Hettrick, Emily Hettrick, Mallory Hettrick and Noah Hettrick; granddog, Scarlett and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Joy Baptist Church with Pastor Adam Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Baptist Church, Madison, GA.
Pallbearers will be Jared Hettrick, Micah Hettrick, Kyle Harper, Lowell Hettrick, Stewart Williams and Cody Albergotti.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Joy Men's Sunday School Class.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
