W.C. Gunter

W.C. "Bud" Gunter, 75, died Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Born in Bogart, he was the son of the late Clyde Gunter and Lillie Mae House Gunter. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Holliday Gunter and longtime companion Elsie Thomas, three brothers and two sisters. He was the owner of W.C. Gunter Masonry. Survivors include his children: Mark (Brenda) Gunter, Sherry (Brian) Dickens, Eric (Christy) Gunter and four grandchildren: Wade (Cecily) Gunter, Brianna Dickens, Will Gunter and Mason Gunter. Funeral services will be held 11AM Thursday, September 14, 2017 at Oconee Chapel, 2370 Hog Mountain Road, Watkinsville, GA. Interment will follow at Oconee Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at Oconee Chapel.
