Wayne Leon Warbington, Sr.

Wayne Leon Warbington, Sr., 74, peacefully passed away on  September 10, 2021.

Wayne was born in Atlanta, GA to the late Horace Leon Warbington and Lois Ida Disharoom. He was a member of St. Anna’s Catholic Church in Monroe and served his country in the Vietnam War. Wayne retired from UPS and also retired from the Gwinnett County Public School System as a special-needs school bus driver. Wayne will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle.

Graveside services will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 9:00 AM at East Shawdowlawn Memorial Gardens.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen Elizabeth Warbington and a granddaughter, Christina Dyals. He is survived by three children, Lee (Donna) Warbington, Wendy (Todd) Pruitt and Kim (Scott) Mahaffey, all of Loganville; two brothers, Danny (Sarah) Warbington and Dale (Tina) Warbington; sister, Yvonne Warbington; grandchildren, Randell (Britney) Christopher, Sean (Stephanie) Christopher, Matthew Dyals and Maggie Mahaffey; a number of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
