She retired from Dupont after 33 years and was a member of Danielsville Baptist Church .Survivors include her sons: Glenn Carter of Athens , Lamar Carter of Danielsville, sisters: Jackie Hawthorne and Loretta Gilmore; brothers: Chop Griffith, James Tiller; Emma andnumerous aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and many friends.,Mememorial service will be held Sunday, September 26, 2010 at 2PM at Danielsville First Baptist Church .Lord & Stephens Danielsville Chapel is in charge of arrangements
