Virginia Luisa Tranovich, 52, died December 22, 2021.
A native of Youngstown, Ohio, she was the daughter of Oscar Budde of Salem, OH and the late Estella Luisa Suin Budde.
Virginia earned her Bachelor’s of Science from The Ohio State University and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Wright State University. She served her residency in Pathology at The Ohio State University with a Fellowship in Surgical Pathology at Harvard University.
Virginia practiced for nineteen years as a Hematopathologist at Athens Regional Medical Center and one year practicing as a Hematopathologist at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta while consulting at CSI laboratory.
Virginia was most proud of being a mother to her two children.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. A visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Due to current necessary precautions, the family asks that the Mass Service at St. Joseph's Catholic Church be private. Please use the following link to view the services.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, Jason G. Tranovich; two children, Elise Marie Tranovich and Aiden John Tranovich; two brothers, Ariel Budde of Buffalo, NY and Ed Budde of Canfield, OH.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Leukemia Lymphoma Society or The Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
