Athens, GA - Virgil Warren Combs, 86, died October 19, 2007.
Mr. Combs was an auto mechanic for fifty-seven years and the retired owner and operator of
V. W. Combs Garage. He served in World War II in the United States Air Force and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Survivors include his wife, Ella Combs; son, Winston Pride Combs both of Athens; sister, Claryce Tyler of Washington, GA.
Memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church.
