Winterville - Violetta A. Slay, 60, died January 31, 2006.
A native of Clarke County, she was the daughter of the late Buford and Ruth Payne Cochran.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 2, 2006 at 2:00 PM at New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Andy Edwards officiating.
Survivors include her son, Michael Todd (Lynne) Slay of Surf Side Beach, SC; sisters, Mildred Watkins and Gail Payne; brothers, Julian A. Cochran, Melvin Cochran and Garey Cochran and grandson, Austin Casey.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Harmony Baptist Church, 8816 Hwy. 334, Nicholson, GA 30565.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 PM.
Lord and Stephens, EAST is in charge of arrangements.
