Watkinsville - Violet F. Hardy, 92, died August 2, 2005.
A native and lifelong resident of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Beulah Marable Fulcher and the widow of Joe B. Hardy. She was a homemaker and a member of Watkinsville First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Hardy and granddaughter, Karen Bramblett.
Funeral services will be Friday, August 5, 2005 at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Rev. Carlos Sibley will officiate. Interment will be in Watkinsville Cemetery.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Jimmy Sailors of Watkinsville; two grandchildren, Rita Bryant and Amy Perry.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
