Athens - Mrs. Viola L. Wooten, 97 of Athens died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Athens Health and Rehab.
Mrs. Wooten was a native of Putnam Co., WV. She moved to New Port Richie, FLA, living there for 20 plus years, but had lived in Athens since 1988.
Mrs. Wooten was of the Church of God faith and attended St. James United Methodist Church. She was preceded in by her husband Riley C. Wooten and parents, Clarence and Blema Moses.
Mrs. Wooten is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Wise and husband James; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your favorite charity.
