Winterville - Viola Inez Lovern, 82, died March 23, 2006.
A lifelong resident of this area, she was a daughter of the late Dee Witt and Mattie Viola Roberts Dobbs. She was retired from Burman Printing and a member for more than fifty years at Edwards Chapel Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir.
Funeral services will be Sunday, March 26, 2006 at 2:30PM at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, WEST. Revs. Clark Ivey and Jack Segars will officiate. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband, Postell Lovern; daughter, Vivian Lovern; three brothers and sister-in-law, James Dobbs, Roy Dobbs, Troy (Ouida) Dobbs; brothers-in-law, Garnett (Bernice) Llewallyn, Hershal (Thelma) Lovern .
Honorary pallbearers will be members of her Sunday School Class at Edwards Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to Edwards Chapel Baptist Church.
Lord and Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
