Athens - Vida Russell Miller, 87, passed away, Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
A native of Wrens, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Abram and Evie Connell Russell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William W. Miller and grandson, Christopher Poole. Mrs. Miller was a Homemaker and a Kindergarten Teacher.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 19, 2009, at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST with Rev. Ray Austin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include children; Carol Miller Parham (Warren) Brown of Athens, Molly Miller (Mike) Kimler of Social Circle, Billie Miller (Billy) Johnson of Watkinsville, Amanda Miller Poole of Statham; Grandchildren, Wayne Parham, Micah Kimler, Justin Kimler, Jeremiah Poole, Rebecca Johnson Wood; Great Grandchildren, David Parham, Luke Poole, Joseph Kimler, Emily Grace Wood and Tyler Wood.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial may be made to First Christian Church of Athens.
