Vickie Rabun Carithers

September 16, 1959 — July 9, 2021

Vickie Rabun Carithers, 61, wife of 43 years to Tim Carithers, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday, July 9, 2021. Vickie had worked for the University of Georgia and was a member of Watkinsville First Baptist Church. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She is survived in addition to her husband, by three sons: Timothy (Penny) Carithers, Brandon (Leigha) Carithers and Zachary (Stephanie) Carithers; siblings: Monica (Greg) Allen, Connie Rabun and Ricky (Julie) Carter and eleven grandchildren: Trinity, Paisley, Logan, Skylar, Maddie, Titus, Kannon, Piper, Juda Gauge, Averie and Nolan.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 2PM at Watkinsville First Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Elder Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Elder Cemetery Fund.
