Vera Lorine (Bishop) Walls

Vera Lorine Bishop Walls, age 92, passed away September 19, 2012. She was born July 30, 1920 to Charlie & Mary Lomax Bishop. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Walls was predeceased by a daughter, Dianne Bishop, a son, Larry Walls, and son-in-law, Dennis Gipson.

Survivors include her husband, William Walls; children, Helen (Donald) Bond of Ila, David (Brenda) Walls of Hull, Joyce (Vic) Huff of Hull, Barbara Gipson of Carnesville, Eugene Walls of Hull, Deborah (Ken) Riddleberger of Jefferson; son-in-law, Wayne Bishop of Hull; sister, Mildred (Vern) Hammond of Bishop; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Friday, September 21, 2012 at Bethel Holiness Church, Ila with the Revs. Curtis Phillips, Marty Smith, Stevie Coones, and Larry Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at the Bethel Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 9PM on Thursday, September 20 and from 1 to 2:30PM on Friday, September 21.

Pallbearers will be Lamar Bond, Tracy Gipson, Mark Gipson, Trent Holman, Adam Bishop, Rodney Baker, Brett Simonson, and Cruz Bennett.
