Watkinsville - Venable Coe Leathers, Jr., 79, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008.
A native of Social Circle, he was the son of the late Venable Coe Sr. and Divona McIntosh Leathers. He was the owner and operator of Kings Creek Kennell.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008, in the chapel of Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST with Rev. Lanny Shepard officiating.
Survivors include his children and spouse, Stacy and Austin Shepard of Summerdale, Alabama, Wayne and Cheryl Leathers of Snellville; sister, Catherine Hartley of Watkinsville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Lord & Stephens Funeral Home WEST is in charge of arrangements.
