Watkinsville - Truitt Ray Billings, 57, died Friday August 3, 2007 at his residence following an extended illness.
Born in Fulton County on November 3, 1949, he was the son of the late Ray H. Billings. He was employed by the Oconee County School System as a media specialist. He attended Faith Presbyterian Church. He also was on the Oconee County Library Board, and was active with little league in Oconee County for many years.
Surviving are wife, Deborah C. Billings of Watkinsville; daughters, Deborah Billings of Orlando, Fla., Rebecca and Jessica Billings of Watkinsville; and Kathryn Dickinson of Danielsville; Son, Matthew Billings of Athens; brother, Henry Lee Billings of Lawrenceville; sisters, Maria Schneider of Marietta; and Raynette Noles of Bogart.
Memorial services were 3:00 pm Sunday, August 5, 2007, from the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, WEST, with Dr. Robert McAndrew officiating.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Oconee County Elementary School Media Center.
