Bishop, GA - Tracy Reed Sumner, age 39, of Bishop, Georgia died Saturday, December 19, 2008.
Born in Atlanta on July 13, 1969, Tracy was the daughter of William Reed Jones Jr. of Athens and Linda Smith Winkie of Hull, Georgia. Tracy graduated from Clarke Central High School in 1987.
Eighteen years ago Tracy married Christopher James Sumner and they became parents to three great kids, Dylan Christopher, Mathew Reed, and Michael Jacob Sumner. Tracy was devoted to her husband, her boys, and their pets. She was a kind and caring person.
Survivors include Tracy's parents, her husband and three sons, as well as sisters, Carolyn Loney, of Watkinsville, and Amanda Williams of Nicholson. Also surviving Tracy are three brothers, William Jones III of Macon, Georgia, Carl Jones of Watkinsville, and Joseph Jones of Milledgeville. Numerous nieces and nephews mourn the loss of their aunt.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Oconee Chapel at 11:00 AM. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Monday, December 22, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
