Nicholson - Tommy J. Terrell, 56, husband of the late Sarah Mae Harvey Terrell, died Saturday, May 31, 2008 at Heritage Health Care of Athens.
Born in Tifton, GA, he was the son of Rachel E. Martin Terrell and the late Henry Ford Terrell. He was of he catholic faith and served his country in the US Marines during the Vietnam.
In addition to his mother, survivors include his daughter: Sarah Lynn Tranum; step daughter: Cherie Lackey, sisters: Jackie Love, Shirley Terrell, Jennie Knight, Sandra Conley, Brenda Perry; brother: Billy Terrell; grandchildren: Rhiannon Medley, Scarlet Clark, Sammy Lackey, Halee Lackey, Makala Ramey, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 2PM at Ross Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Lillie Tripp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Oconee Chapel Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements.
