Bogart - Tina J. Burgess, 42, wife of Charles Burgess, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008, at Athens Regional Medical Center.
Born in Clarke County, she was the daughter of Ellen Cook Jackson of Bogart and the late Clarence W. Jackson. She had worked for St. Marys Hospital as a Surgical Technician for 23 years and was currently working at BJC Medical Center also as a Surgical Technician. She was a former member of Oconee County Little League Board of Officers.
In addition to her husband and mother, survivors include two sons: Chad Burgess and Ryan Burgess both of Bogart and one sister, Paige Jackson of Bogart.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 11, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Phil Williams officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the family.
