Athens - Timothy Franklin Ring, 58, died Monday, January 8, 2007 at his residence.
Born in Lewisburg, Tenn., he was the son of the late Thomas Franklin and Charlotte Sarvis Ring. He was a truck driver for Estes Express Lines. He was preceded in death by his sister Lydia Phelps.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Ring; daughters: Becky Orr, of Birmingham, Ala., Michelle Glathar , of Clarksville, Tenn.; son: Robert Ring, of Athens, Ga.; sister: Pat Martin, of Lawrenceville, Ga.; brothers: Robert Ring, of Bogart, Ga., James Ring, of Ila, Ga.; grandchildren: Jake, Abby, Kendall Orr and Kirsten and Ryker Glathar.
Memorial services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 2PM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel. The family will receive friends following the services.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice Advantage, 135 Athens West Parkway, Ste A, Athens, GA 30606.
Lord & Stephens, WEST, is in charge of arrangements.
