Timothy Avery Langley

June 5, 1964 — January 17, 2024

Statham, GA

Mr. Timothy Avery Langley, 59, of McRae GA, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.

Mr Langley was born in Macon GA on June 5, 1964, the son of the late Herman Langley and the late Barbara Langley. Tim was a man with many talents before brain cancer took away his mobility. He trained to be a chef and was a caterer.  He was the private chef for the sorority Delta Zeta and catered meals for Watkinsville First Baptist for big events like VBS and the Mix. He worked in sales for modular housing and was an independent contractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Gail Langley Bearss.

The memorial service will be on January 20, 2024 2:00 PM Saturday at Lord & Stephens, West Chapel with Pastor Carlos Sibley officiating. The family will visit at the funeral home prior to the service from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.

Survivors include his wife Kimberly Carey Langley; daughters; Avery Jane, Sarah Kathryn, and Charis Rossalyn;  and sister Janis Langley Murray (Wendel) and niece Christa Murray.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Brain Tumor Association.  Tim fought fiercely against a brain tumor called malignant meningioma which has limited treatment options so your donation would help researchers find ways to treat this cancer.  As always #greymatters.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West, Watkinsville, GA is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
