Timothy Lee Kitchens

Timothy Lee Kitchens 65 left his earthly home January 18, 2025.

Tim was the son of the late John Dean Kitchens and Ann Elizabeth Kitchens. Tim was a long-time member of East Athens Baptist Church where he helped with the tape/video ministry, sound system and Awana.

Tim graduated from Cedar Shoals High School. Early on he worked at Chicopee Mill and Delmar. Tim loved exotic birds and over 40 years ago started his own business, Classic City Aviaries. A resident of Oglethorpe County, he was well known throughout the US as a premier breeder.

Tim is survived by his mother Ann Kitchens, brother Travis Kitchens (Bette), nephew Jack Kitchens, niece Ava Kitchens, and several cousins.

A celebration of life ceremony is planned for the spring at Tim's home.
