Thyra Robinson

Thyra Catherine Robinson, 81, died October 10, 2016.

A native of Enon Valley, PA, she was a daughter of the late David H. and Thyra Alena Hoopengardner Phillips and the widow of Robert Paul Robinson. Mrs. Robinson was employed for thirty-six years at Sears, where she was currently working until her illness, and was a 4-H Leader for many years.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 2pm at the chapel of Lord and Stephens, EAST. Interment will follow at Athens Memory Gardens.

Survivors include five children, Pauline LaCount of Athens, GA, Scott Robinson (Barb Sellers) of Conover, NC, Diane (Ben) Weiss of Bogart, GA, Melinda (Steve) Wilson of Goodlettsville, TN and Michael (Lisa-deceased) Robinson of Camden, DE; sister, Mildred Nalesnik of Darlington, PA; fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brother William Phillips (PA) and sister Mary Cantrell (CA).

The family will receive friends from 6-9 Friday October 14, 2016 at the funeral home.
