Winterville - Thomas Wilson Turnbull, 79, formerly of Bishop, died Monday, August 1, 2011.
Born in Madison, GA, he was the son of Moses and Anna Tolbert Turnbull. He was a member of Watkinsville First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor R. Turnbull, daughters, Celeste Turnbull of Athens, Crystal Turnbull of Athens, son, Thomas Turnbull of Wisconsin, brother, Charles Turnbull of Athens, sister, Ann Veale of Watkinsville, grandchildren, Josh Wayne Sorrow, Tara Marie Turnbull, Donavan Isaiah Turnbull.
A memorial services will be held Friday, August 5, 2011 at Watkinsville First Baptist Church at 3PM. The family will receive friends Thursday from 4 to 7 at their residence.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
