Thomas Robert "Bob" Oliver

Thomas Robert "Bob" Oliver, 77, died Monday, February 20, 2017. A native of Athens, he was the son of Thomas Parks Oliver of Athens and the late Beatrice Kay Oliver. He was preceded in death by his brother Victor Maurice Oliver. Bob was a 1957 graduate of Athens High School and was a 1962 graduate of the UGA School of Business. He retired from Coble Dairy as an accountant and was currently working part time with CNI. He was a member of Winterville United Methodist Church, Sons of Confederate Veterans and Sons of the American Revolution. In addition to his father, survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Lora and Robert Hutcherson of Chickamauga and grandson, John Robert Hutcherson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
