Thomas William "TW" Meeler, 88, died Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Born in Athens, GA he was the son of the late Thomas Watson Meeler and Annie Lou Patton Meeler and brother to the late Pledger Meeler. Mr. Meeler retired from Big Star Foods after 40 years and was the owner and operator of Meeler Wood Products. He loved his beagles, bird dogs and "Puppies". He attended Briarwood Baptist Church.
Survivors include his children: Teresa (Richard) Kay of Gainesville, GA, Jerry Meeler of Watkinsville and Larry (Debbie) Meeler of Watkinsville; sisters: Millie Wright of Colbert, GA, Shirley Kittle of Bogart, GA; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and former wife Katherene Vandiver Meeler.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Lord and Stephens West Chapel with Rev. Rick Standard officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.
