St. Augustine, FL - Thomas Ray "T.K." Kittle, 51, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at Baptist Medical Center, Jacksonville, FL.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 29, 2008 at 10AM at Lord & Stephens West Chapel with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Born in Altus, OK, he was the son of Thomas (Sandra P.) Harmon Kittle of Athens and Patricia L. Kittle of Altus, OK. Tommy currently lives in St. Augustine, but grew up in Oconee County. He has been singing since he was three years old, started playing guitar at age of eight, and has been playing Blues since 1984 with various Blues bands. He additionally was the front man for a group out of Athens, called the Condors, that played all over Georgia. He served his country in the US Air Force, was a member of Cross Creek Presbyterian Church, Jacksonville, FL and had worked in construction.
In addition to his parents, Tommy is survived by his sister Darla (Alan) K. Beckner of Chapmansboro, TN, nephews, Brandon and Kyle Beckner, special aunt and uncle, Belva and Ted Wooten, cousins, Dana and Dona and their families and loving girlfriend, Donna Ryals. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
