Thomas Johnson

Thomas Johnson, 76, of Athens, died Sunday, August 28, 2016. Tom was born in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Arthur and Lucille Johnson. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, James Johnson, Fredrick Johnson, Cora Thornsley, Pat Laffertty, Paul Johnson, Arthur Johnson, and infant sister Joanne Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Ana Johnson, children, Carlos "Tony" Johnson, Sheila Pilgrim, and Mary Johnson, siblings, Al Johnson and Marie (Bud) Lemon, grandchildren, Savannah Pilgrim, Jasmine Pilgrim, Kevin Pilgrim, Anthony Gonzalez, and Krystal Portis, mother-in-law Esperanza Vasquez, sister-in-law, Norma Sarango, Maria Rosales, and Carmen Tumen, brother-in-law, Alejandro Gonzalez, son-in-law Roger Pilgrim, and nieces and nephews, Patsy Laffertty, and Dick and Gladys McComb.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. at Lord and Stephens, East chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-4:00P.M. Burial will follow at Athens Memory Gardens. Lord and Stephens, East is in charge of arrangements. www.lordandstephens.com
